We work as part of a multidisciplinary team, committed to providing consumers holistic and evidence-based care. You will be provided with supervision, support, and access to CPD. What You'll be Doing Provide a high quality occupational therapy service to clients and their families/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for the clients of the service. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient entry, assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation, evaluation and separation of patients/clients in a multi‑disciplinary setting. The Occupational Therapist is also responsible for undertaking designated administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery. Where You'll Be Working SWSLHD Inpatient Mental Health Services provide comprehensive care across several facilities, including the newly redeveloped Campbelltown Hospital and Liverpool Hospital. These services offer a safe and therapeutic environment for individuals with acute and non‑acute mental health needs. The multidisciplinary teams, consisting of professionals with diverse mental health expertise, deliver exceptional care through specialised units such as the Mental Health Intensive Care Unit, Adult Acute Unit, and Older People’s Mental Health Unit. The service is committed to patient safety and high-quality care, maintaining external accreditation with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards. Completing Final Semester of a Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy, with eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or Qualified Occupational Therapist with APHRA registration. Demonstrated clinical experience in Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention in a hospital setting. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver’s license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
