About the opportunity Due to continued growth and exciting new projects, we have a newly created opportunity for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our Brisbane team. This opportunity plays a key role in driving operational excellence for our national operations. In this role, you will Prepare detailed electrical estimates for LV, instrumentation, controls, and communications scopes, interpreting drawings, specifications, and client requirements. Analyse project documentation to identify risks, key cost drivers, and value engineering opportunities to support accurate and competitive pricing. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and assess technical and commercial compliance. Develop BOQs, cost schedules, and tender documentation while ensuring estimates reflect current market conditions and industry standards. Collaborate with project teams and clients to provide clarifications, input into methodologies, and support Early Contractor Involvement (ECI). Contribute to post-tender handovers, incorporating lessons learned to continuously improve estimating processes and project outcomes. About you You’re a collaborative and results driven Estimation professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys contributing to meaningful outcomes. 5–10+ years’ experience in electrical estimating or electrical trade/engineering within heavy industry (Mining, O&G, Energy, Infrastructure). Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems, installation methodologies, and industry standards. Skilled in interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical data to develop accurate estimates. Proficient in estimating software, MS Office, and project documentation systems. Commercially aware with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and contribute to competitive, compliant tender submissions.
