About the Role As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you’ll work with individuals, their families, and support networks to develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans that promote safety, choice, and independence. You’ll use your clinical expertise to: Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop evidence-based strategies. Collaborate with families, support workers, and allied health professionals. Build the capacity of support teams through coaching and mentoring. Advocate for people with disability and uphold person-centred, rights-based practice. About You You’re an empathetic professional who thrives on helping others reach their potential. What You Bring A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or related field. Registration preferably as a Core Practitioner or ability to be endorsed to practice as a Suitable Practitioner. Experience developing and implementing PBS plans in complex settings. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships. Strong IT, admin and organisation skills as you will be working with billable time. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to drive, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
