Primero is seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy‑Duty Fitter (HD Fitter) to work across our current project, located in Newman on a 2:1 roster. Find out what a career at Primero can do for you. What you 'Can Do' Diagnose and repair mechanical malfunctions Perform preventive maintenance for onsite machinery Conduct scheduled servicing and minor repairs on plant and vehicles Carry out inspections and identify mechanical issues Maintain service records and ensure compliance with schedules Operate service vehicle and support mobile plant operations Manage stock levels of mechanical consumables, oils, AdBlue, coolant, grease, etc. Complete alternate tasks as directed by your supervisor and within your experience and abilities Requirements Certificate III Engineering Mechanical Trade or similar OHS Construction White Card Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug and alcohol screen At least 5 years of strong industrial construction working experience What we 'Can Do' for you Flights on offer from Brisbane to Western Australia Competitive compensation Contemporary rostering Health and wellbeing support Benefits and discounts Employee referral rewards Primero is an equal opportunity employer and strongly encourages female and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.
