Commercial Advisory & Procurement Associates Senior Associates and Managers (Government Defence) The Opportunity KAZAR is looking for Commercial Advisory & Procurement Associates Senior Associates and Managers to support and lead critical ICT engagements across Federal Government. As part of the team you will drive commercial strategy shape procurements run complex ICT sourcing activities and guide multidisciplinary teams to value-for-money outcomes. This is a dynamic role requiring initiative sound commercial judgement and the ability to operate independently within a small high-performing team. Youll work across sustainment and acquisition projects from low-level advice to leading approaches to market procurement evaluations and strategic commercial decision-making. Essential Requirements 5 years experience in commercial / procurement roles (Commercial Manager / Officer Contract Manager Procurement Specialist / Officer). Bachelor of Laws and / or Business with relevant commercial / procurement experience. Strong knowledge of ASDEFCON and Commonwealth contracting suites the PGPA Act and CPRs. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders. Proven analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail in complex environments. Australian citizenship and AGSVA security clearance (NV1 or higher). Key Responsibilities Lead or support complex ICT and Defence procurement activities from strategy and market engagement through to negotiation and vendor management. Provide expert commercial contractual and procurement advice to senior stakeholders across Defence and Government ICT programs. Develop and review procurement strategies tender documentation evaluation plans and contract frameworks. Ensure risk probity ethics and compliance with the CPRs PGPA Act and Defence frameworks. Lead procurements across acquisition and sustainment phases applying relevant policies and frameworks. Prepare and review RFTs SOWs / SORs evaluation packs contract change proposals reports and submissions. Support tender evaluations contract development and industry negotiations. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and industry partners. Lead discrete tasking setting priorities and workflows for multidisciplinary teams.
