Our workplace is fast paced, challenging and supportive, where every employee plays a critical role in our success.Working for Mackay Hospital and Health Service whether in regional, rural and remote will give you unique opportunities that you won’t experience in any metropolitan hospital.The Information Communication and Technology Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Information Compliance Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.How to apply and for mandatory requirements regarding this role, please refer to the attached Role Description.Your opportunityYou will provide specialist expertise and guidance in relation to information governance in the context of the MHHS IM/ICT environment; ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards; lead the design and implementation of appropriate controls, processes and solutions required to define and operate the systems for information access, recordkeeping, information security and compliance monitoring.About the TeamThe Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Department is a team of predominantly technical staff working closely with the Digital and Information Management teams, to provide advice and support to optimise patient care within a contemporary health care environment.About our Hospital and Health ServiceMackay Hospital and Health Service
