About the Role The JBS Pork Australia - Quality Assurance team is currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Laverton on a full-time capacity, Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Operations Plant Manager, this role will be responsible for managing the Quality Assurance systems for JBS Pork Australia - Laverton Processing Plant. Your key responsibilities will include: Establish / monitor SOPs and recording systems to ensure Company, Regulatory Authority, customer and meat safety standards compliance. Maintain accurate records and regularly report results to the Operations Plant Manager and oversee other QA systems, such as Approved Arrangements and PrimeSafe. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Management System including HACCP, GMP, and prerequisite programs. Act as the primary contact and coordinate external audits, including Regulatory Audits (DAFF, Animal Welfare), GFSI Certification Audits (SQF) & Customer Audits. Maintain certifications and ensure timely closure of audit findings. Investigate and manage product non-conformances and customer complaints, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action. Perform other duties as directed. About You Proven experience in quality assurance or food safety. Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, export regulations, and GFSI certification schemes. Demonstrated leadership of QA teams and audit management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Why work for JBS Australia?
