Product Development Engineer

Role Overview Working within the Product Development team located at our global head office in Kilsyth, Melbourne, we are seeking a Product Development Engineer to develop new ARB products. As part of our design team you will be involved in bringing new concepts and ideas to life through design, validation, and documentation. You will be involved in the development process from the initial concept through until release to market, including vehicle‑specific accessories and general accessories with a retail/consumer focus. Key Responsibilities Understand customer requirements and convert them into design briefs. Develop products based on a design brief and agreed timeline. Communicate with internal stakeholders including product management and manufacturing. Test and evaluate products. Collaborate with partner suppliers. Skills & Experience At least 5 years of industry experience. Proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and mechanical design. Experience working with suppliers and external manufacturing facilities. Proven experience in new product development with a retail/consumer focus. Highly Regarded Attributes Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, particularly sheet‑metal fabrication. A practical and hands‑on approach to the development, fitment and testing of products. An interest in 4W driving and outdoor activities.
