Busy Bees at Baldivis Part-Time Chef (25 hrs) Busy Bees at Baldivis Location : Baldivis Perth WA Licensed Capacity : 104 places Hourly Rate : $30.93 per hour About the Role Busy Bees at Baldivis is seeking a passionate Part-Time Chef to prepare nutritious and delicious meals for the children in our care. With a licensed capacity of 104 children you will play a key role in supporting their health wellbeing and learning by providing fresh high-quality meals each day. This role is 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday) for morning shifts. Responsibilities Prepare fresh healthy and culturally inclusive meals and snacks for children Plan and deliver weekly menus in line with Nutrition Australia and Busy Bees guidelines Cater for special dietary requirements including allergies intolerances and cultural needs Ensure the highest standards of food safety hygiene and kitchen compliance (HACCP) Manage kitchen supplies stock rotation and ordering Work closely with centre leadership to promote childrens health and wellbeing What You'll Need Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification) Food Handling Certificate Knowledge of HACCP food safety programs and menu planning requirements Experience as a Chef in childcare schools or aged care settings (highly desirable) Current Working with Children Check (VIC) Current First Aid and CPR certification (preferred) Full Australian working rights Key Benefits Hourly rate $30.93 per hour Laundry allowance and uniform allocation Generous childcare gap fee discounts for permanent staff Say goodbye to weekend work Monday to Friday onlyAccess to the Busy Bees learning platform for ongoing professional development Supportive collaborative and inclusive team environment Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for personal and family support Apply now to join Busy Bees at Baldivis as our Chef where your passion for fresh healthy food will help fuel the next generation of learners.
