Senior Electrical Engineer - Mission Critical Projects (Data Centres) - ( MS ) Description We are currently seeking a motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our friendly and supportive Melbourne Buildings Team on a full-time basis. You will be a part of our multi-disciplinary team working on various Mission Critical (data centre projects). You will be working on complex data centre projects, leading and supporting site-based commissioning activities. The role will enable the successful candidate to develop in a professional and personal sense and to forge a challenging and rewarding career path in a global successful consultancy. Day to day tasks would involve: Responsible for planning and managing projects from initial master planning, concept and brief, through to installation and commissioning. Developing commissioning plans, reviewing designs, and ensuring they are fit-for-purpose from a commissioning perspective. Attend site commissioning from Cx Level 2 through to 5. Support and offer guidance to Engineers and Graduates to enable them to perform successfully at all levels. Represent Stantec externally to Clients, playing a senior and active role in managing these relationships. Prepare presentations and present to external clients Liaise with authorities and contractors To be successful for this role you'll need: Hold a bachelor degree of Electrical Engineering Ideally have around 5-8 years experience working in a Consulting environment within the Building services industry in Victoria Willingness to establish and maintain strong client relationships to formulate repeat opportunities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive, can-do attitude, team player and strong work ethic Stantec are involved in a vast variety of project types including data centres, health, defence, high-rise, industrial, education etc. The successful candidate will be working in a strong team environment and will need to manage several projects at any one time.
