Project Manager (Integration) Location : Brisbane or Sydney Engagement : Fixed-Term Contract (12 months) Sector : Major Healthcare Organisation Focus : Enterprise Integration, Platform Selection, ERP + Workday Integration, Hybrid Systems (Cloud + Legacy) Overview We are partnering with a major healthcare organisation undertaking a multi-year digital transformation and are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong integration delivery experience. This role will drive complex integration work across a hybrid environment of legacy systems, new SaaS platforms, cloud services, and emerging enterprise integration capabilities. Unlike a traditional infrastructure or application build role, this position sits at the centre of how the organisation’s systems communicate, share data, and interoperate. You will be responsible for delivering the foundational integration capability that will connect key business systems today—most immediately Microsoft D365 Finance ERP and Workday—and will ultimately scale into broader enterprise and healthcare domains. The organisation is currently running an RFP process for a new integration platform and data platform. This PM will help shape vendor selection, onboarding, early configuration, and adoption patterns across multiple streams including MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, and data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks. You won’t need to be deeply technical; instead, you will guide delivery, coordinate vendors, manage cross-team dependencies, and ensure the integration and data transformations required for these major business systems are delivered successfully. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery Lead end-to-end delivery of integration initiatives across D365, Workday, and the broader enterprise ecosystem. Develop and manage schedules, budgets, RAID logs, governance packs, and executive reporting. Coordinate multiple delivery streams involving business SMEs, architecture, data teams, and external partners. Drive alignment across competing priorities, dependencies, and integration requirements. Integration Execution & Architecture Alignment Oversee integration delivery across middleware / iPaaS platforms including MuleSoft, Boomi, and Workato. Work with architects to define integration patterns, data flows, transformation requirements, and non-functional needs. Ensure integrations between D365, Workday, legacy systems, and cloud services follow best practice and align to the target-state architecture. Guide the development of interface specifications, mapping documents, validation rules, and process orchestration. Vendor, Partner & Procurement Management Manage vendor and implementation partner engagement across integration and data streams. Support procurement activities for integration platforms and delivery partners. Ensure contractual and performance obligations are met and aligned to program objectives. Testing, Release & Transition Oversee testing cycles : system, integration, end‑to‑end, performance, and regression. Manage release readiness, cutover activities, support documentation, and BAU transition. Key Deliverables Integration plans connecting D365 and Workday to enterprise systems Platform onboarding plans for the chosen iPaaS and data platforms Interface catalogues, mapping documents, and API / service documentation Integration testing plans and release readiness sign‑offs Solution option papers and architectural recommendations BAU handover, support models, and operational transition artefacts Stakeholder communications, risks, issues, and governance reporting Skills & Experience Essential Proven experience delivering integration or API / middleware-focused projects. Experience delivering integrations for complex enterprise systems (ERP, HRIS, CRM, financial or operational platforms). Demonstrated capability working across cloud + legacy system dependencies. Strong understanding of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, messaging, ETL, event-driven architecture). Experience managing external vendors, delivery partners, and technical squads. Strong governance and reporting capability across risk, change, budget, and delivery controls. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical complexity. Highly Valued Experience delivering integrations for D365 or Workday. Exposure to integration platform selection or implementation (MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Azure Integration Services). Experience with enterprise data platforms : Snowflake, Databricks, or similar. Background in healthcare, regulated industries, or environments with complex compliance requirements. Understanding of identity, privacy, data protection, and secure data-sharing frameworks.
