Senior School Officer Join to apply for the Senior School Officer role at Edith Cowan University 6 months Fixed Term, Full-time, Joondalup Campus Open to candidates with relevant working rights Salary: $84,470 to $93,865 pa PLUS 17% SUPERANNUATION About The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and motivated professional with exceptional clerical skills to support a variety of administrative processes, ensuring the smooth functioning of the School of Arts and Humanities. This role will be based primarily at the Joondalup campus. The Role Your expertise in human resources, payroll tasks, financial processes, coordination of international activities, and committee governance will be invaluable in resolving issues, developing solutions, and providing sound advice to key internal and external stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with the Executive team and academic and professional staff across the School. At times, you may also be expected to mentor School Officers and contribute to achieving team‑focused outcomes. About You Selection Criteria The Successful Candidate Will Have Demonstrated excellence in providing high‑level administrative support in areas such as finance, international activities, recruitment policy, and contract compliance. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to use initiative and think analytically and laterally when sourcing information and resolving administrative inquiries. Extensive experience supporting academic functions, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and diplomacy. Proven experience delivering proactive and high‑quality executive support, committee support, and committee governance. The ability to work autonomously, take direction, and motivate both yourself and team members while managing competing priorities and deadlines. Experience in academic‑related research support is highly desirable.
