Sales Representative – Solar & Battery Industry First Choice Solar QLD Pty Ltd – Burleigh Heads QLD First Choice Solar is one of the largest and most respected solar companies in South-East Queensland and Northern NSW. Owned and operated for 14 years, based on the Southern end of the Gold Coast. About the Role We’re seeking a senior, honest, and personable Sales Representative to join our growing solar and battery installation business. This role suits a seasoned professional with strong experience in construction, trade, or electrical sales — someone who values integrity over aggressive selling. You’ll engage with qualified warm leads, including homeowner inquiries from our dedicated website and referral network. Your focus will be on building trust, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored energy solutions that reflect our reputation for quality and transparency. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-home or virtual consultations with qualified leads (no cold calling). Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solar/battery solutions. Manage the sales process from inquiry to installation handover. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and pipeline progress. Collaborate with operations and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Must-Have Skills & Experience 15+ years’ sales experience (ideally within construction, building, or related trades). Proven track record in consultative or relationship-based sales. High personal integrity — we’re not looking for a pushy salesperson. Excellent communication and client rapport‑building skills. Resident on the Gold Coast (role primarily south of Logan). Nice to Have Knowledge of electrical systems, solar, or battery storage solutions. Understanding of residential construction or energy efficiency markets.
