Mobility Equipment Service Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated service Technician to join our team. This hands‑on role involves the service and repair of mobility equipment, including gophers and wheelchairs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and the capability to manage their own service schedule while adhering to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, identify, and resolve issues with mobility equipment. Service and repair mobility equipment in our warehouse and at clients' homes, or within the community. Manage your own service schedule, ensuring timely communication with clients and service providers. Conduct deliveries utilizing a manual vehicle; a valid driver’s license is required. Listen to customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services completed. Communicate with companies regarding warranties and other service‑related matters. Adhere to safety protocols and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Be a quick learner, adapting to new technologies and methods as needed. Participate in on‑the‑job training to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle. Proficient computer skills for scheduling, communication, and record‑keeping. Experience in mechanical service roles is beneficial. Ability to work independently and manage various tasks simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues. Willingness to learn and participate in on‑the‑job training.
