As a senior underwriter you will focus on innovative product solutions for the ANZ business function, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining documentation accuracy, and contributing to product refinement. You’ll assist in pricing of new products and propositions and deliver products that maximise saleability and profitability. You’ll deliver reporting and actionable insights to support timely decisions that optimise insurance portfolio performance across the Group. You’ll assist with valuations and monitoring of portfolios, collating market data to assess competitive position. You’ll contribute to innovation initiatives and continuous improvement projects. What are we looking for? A bachelor’s degree in economics, actuarial, statistical or mathematics with proven experience within the insurance industry (direct insurance pricing management or travel insurance ideal). Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. The ability to effectively collaborate and work within an international team located across multiple locations. High attention to detail with a track record of accurate documentation and regulatory compliance. Strong Excel skills and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SAS & SQL.
