The Organisation Possability delivers high-quality care services to support vulnerable Australians. They provide foster care, family group homes, and residential services, ensuring children and young people in their care are safe, supported, and empowered. The Opportunity Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for leading the Care Team in delivering therapeutic supports for children and young people. Provide therapeutic support to children and young people with complex needs. Lead Care Teams to ensure a safe, supportive, and trauma‑informed care environment, embedding person‑centred and culturally responsive practice. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored intervention strategies, including positive behaviour support and care/case planning. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating referrals, managing transitions, and ensuring placement stability. About you You will bring: Tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, occupational therapy, or a related field. 5+ years of experience delivering therapeutic support to children and young people. Strong cultural awareness and commitment to trauma‑informed, person‑centred practice, particularly with Aboriginal children and families. Resilient, confident, and pragmatic when managing complex situations. Aboriginal candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
