DSV Global Transport and Logistics – Melbourne Airport VIC Position: Team Lead, Logistics (AUS – Melbourne Airport, Watson Drive) Employment: Full Time Job Req Number: Join DSV’s global family as a skilled and passionate logistics leader dedicated to customer focus and collaboration. About the Role The Team Lead manages freight flow to and from the warehouse, invoicing, issuing credit returns, liaising with customers and transport providers (internal and external), stock control and supplier management. The role supervises day-to-day activities of the Contract Logistics team, allocates workloads, and provides authoritative advice and guidance to operators. Your Typical Day at DSV Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring SLAs and service standards are met. Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with SOPs, GxP, and safety standards. Coordinate pick‑packing, labelling, inventory counts, and accurate data entry for customer orders. Support inbound/outbound logistics and maintain strong communication with internal teams and clients. Monitor KPIs, identify process improvements, and ensure timely invoicing and reporting. Ensure team training, induction, and compliance with DSV and customer policies. Participate in audits, manage CAPA processes, and support business continuity planning. About You Customer‑focused and performance‑driven, with a strong commitment to delivering reliable, cost‑effective logistics solutions and exceeding KPIs. A collaborative team player with a problem‑solving mindset; fosters cross‑functional efficiency and, where applicable, leads and supports others to achieve shared goals. At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role or substantial administrative experience including an accounts function. Understanding of P&L, customer accounts, OH&S policies and legislative requirements related to warehouse operations and people management.
