About the role We are currently recruiting a Solicitor with at least 4 years PAE in Property Development Law to take on a Senior Associate role in our Mooloolaba office. Our Property, Development, Corporate and Commercial team are based in two offices across Mooloolaba and Brisbane, and advise on a variety of matters including residential, commercial and industrial developments, leasing, business sales and acquisitions, and corporate structuring advice. We have 11 staff working in our Mooloolaba office including our Director, Annie Kelly, two lawyers, and conveyancers, paralegals and administrative support with years of experience who are experts in their practice areas. You will also be working closely with our Director Matt Shannon, who works from the Mooloolaba office two days a week. This role will see you responsible for: providing complex advice to leading property and commercial clients across the Sunshine Coast including in relation to transactions for off the plan developments, acquisitions of development sites and investment properties, commercial leasing, lending, borrowing and securities, and corporate structuring; drafting and negotiating specialised agreements for a variety of property and commercial transactions; providing supervision and assistance to our conveyancers and lawyers on residential and commercial conveyancing; and providing mentoring to early career lawyers in a variety of property and commercial transactions. Salary will be commensurate with previous experience and comparable to Brisbane CBD firms. The role also provides you the flexibility to access our Brisbane office and to work with a variety of clients across both offices. You will have At least 4 years PAE in private practice, primarily in property and commercial transactions, including some experience supervising and mentoring early career lawyers.
