Electrical Project Engineer – Defence Project Join to apply for the Electrical Project Engineer – Defence Project role at Design Build . About The Company A growing head contractor established for 45 years with plans to double in size over the next year due to some massive project wins. They specialise in unique commercial, government and defence projects across Australia and overseas. What Your Day Looks Like Review electrical designs, prepare project scope and coordinate adjustments to ensure alignment with project requirements. Oversee procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery and quality of electrical components and materials during construction. Manage quality assurance for all electrical systems, conducting regular inspections to maintain high standards and compliance. Collaborate closely with site teams, subcontractors and consultants to resolve design and construction challenges. Monitor project timelines, budget allocations and resource use to meet project milestones efficiently. About you Electrical Engineering degree. 3+ years construction experience in Australia, with a key focus on electrical building services engineering. Ability to work across electrical design, procurement, construction processes and commissioning procedures. Skilled in supplier and subcontractor management. Great understanding of Australian standards and regulations. Strong communication skills to collaborate with consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders. Remuneration & Benefits Up to $140k plus super – based on skills & experience. 2 days WFH flexibility.
