Overview At Main Roads Western Australia, we manage the planning, design, construction, maintenance and operation of major roads and highways, ensuring a world‑class road network that connects communities across the state. Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Barrier Marking Coordinator to develop, maintain and deliver technical standards and guidelines for barrier line marking across the state’s road network. The role will lead audits of consultant work, contribute expert advice to policy and strategy, and ensure compliance with our technical requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead the development, maintenance and delivery of technical standards and guidelines for barrier line marking. Review and audit consultant work to confirm compliance with technical standards. Provide expert advice to policy and strategy development related to barrier line marking. Build effective relationships with consultants, stakeholders and government partners. Manage audits and projects to uphold safety and compliance standards. Support regional short‑term assignments as required. About You You will demonstrate: Proven experience in barrier line marking, including technical analysis and advisory work. Strong knowledge of road construction, traffic management practices and survey audit processes. Confidence working with spatial data, measurements and digital data management tools. Well‑developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in contract and project management. What We Offer Option to work 37.5 or 40 hours per week. Selection Criteria: Provision of Barrier Line Marking services to Main Roads and Local Government. Developing and maintaining Barrier Line Marking standards, products, practices and processes. Spatial data management processes, methodology and practices. Building and enhancing stakeholder relationships. Additional Information All selection criteria will be assessed during the selection process. The successful candidate will need to complete a National Police Clearance and a pre‑employment medical assessment.
