Diabetes Specialist Dietitian Department of Health, Tasmania Position ID: (HP04). Fixed-term, part-time day worker. 15.2 hours per fortnight, commencing ASAP until 30 June 2026. Role Provide specialist nutrition and dietetic service at the North West Regional Hospital Diabetes Centre and to clients from the THO-North West. Take an authoritative leadership role, maintaining specialised knowledge to ensure services are in accordance with organisational policies, best practice standards, and the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) code of conduct. Coordinate nutrition and dietetic services provided by the NWRH Diabetes Centre, plan, and develop innovative best‑practice strategies within the region in the area of medical nutritional therapy for people with diabetes. Qualifications and Experience Hold or be working towards Credentialed Diabetes Educator status. Demonstrate experience in working with patients with diabetes. Willing to work across multiple sites. Salary and Benefits Salary: $123,717 to $134,336 per annum (pro rata). 12% superannuation contribution on top. Salary range in accordance with Allied Health Public Sector Union Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022. Access to salary packaging including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, and other eligible benefits. Professional Development Allowance up to $1,000 per annum. Travel and relocation assistance up to $10,000 for interstate appointees. Professional development and accelerated pathways.
