The Role: To provide a specialist nutrition and dietetic service at the North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) Diabetes Centre and to clients from the THO-North West. To undertake an authoritative leadership role and maintaining specialised knowledge to ensure nutrition and dietetic services provided are in accordance with organisational policies, best practice standards and the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) code of conduct. To coordinate nutrition and dietetic services provided by the NWRH Diabetes Centre, plan, and develop innovative best practice strategies within the region in the area of medical nutritional therapy for people with diabetes. You will need to: Hold or be working towards Credentialled Diabetes Educator status Demonstrate experience in working with patients with diabetes Be willing to work across multiple sites Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. Details of appointment: Fixed term, part time, day worker position, working 15.2 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2026. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary: $123,717 to $134,336 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Public Sector Union Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022 Please note that access to salaries beyond $130,900 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum Benefits available to eligible candidates: Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.
