Salary and Working Arrangements Academic Level Salary: B($115,303-$136,925) + 17% Superannuation. Flexible working arrangements. Location: Melbourne CBD campus, hybrid working. About the Position The Lecturer is expected to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the School, in disciplines related to their field of expertise. The Lecturer is responsible for carrying out teaching activities within undergraduate, Masters and Graduate Diploma programs, maintaining and advancing scholarly research. The Lecturer is also expected to promote the program by establishing partnerships with academic, industry and professional communities, collaborate collegially, update colleagues and students on developments, and may be responsible for course coordination. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including online delivery, and produce high quality curriculum or program materials. Ability to undertake course coordination role. Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and negotiate sensitively with students on effective learning issues. Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs, including publications, new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links. Demonstrated ability to supervise higher degree by research candidates. Ability to build effective networks and generate alternative funding projects through liaison with industry and government. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in teaching practice through pedagogical approaches, learning technologies, and reflective practice. Evidence of active engagement with academic, professional or industry bodies and fostering partnerships that enhance teaching, research or employability outcomes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills appropriate for interacting with candidates, staff and industry, and a commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration. Preference for candidates with interdisciplinary research across the School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain.
