Lecturer, Supply Chain Management RMIT University Overview Full-time, continuing position Salary Academic Level B ($115,303 - $136,925) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the Melbourne CBD campus with hybrid working arrangements Responsibilities The Lecturer is expected to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the School, in disciplines related to their field of expertise. The Lecturer will carry out teaching activities within undergraduate, Masters and Graduate Diploma programs and maintain and advance scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities. The Lecturer will promote the program by establishing and maintaining memberships, links and partnerships with academic, industry and professional communities. The Lecturer will work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics, update colleagues and students on developments in their subject area or specialisation, and may be responsible for course coordination. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and post‑graduate levels, including online delivery, and produce high‑quality curriculum or program materials Ability to undertake course coordination role Capacity to work effectively with and negotiate sensitively with students, especially on learning‑related issues Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs contributing to existing Discipline and School research areas evidenced by publications, development of new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links Ability to supervise higher degree by research candidates Ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects through liaison with industry and government Commitment to continuous improvement in teaching practice through contemporary pedagogical approaches, learning technologies, and reflective practice Active engagement with academic, professional or industry bodies, including fostering partnerships that enhance teaching, research or employability outcomes for students Excellent interpersonal and communication skills appropriate for interacting with higher degree by research candidates, staff and industry, with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration Preference for candidates demonstrating a track record in interdisciplinary research across the School of Accounting Information Systems and Supply Chain Application Process Please submit your CV and covering letter addressing the Key Selection Criteria for this position by clicking on the "Apply" link at the top of this page.
