Job Details Location: Geelong & Surrounds, Victoria Salary: From $ per hour + 25% casual loading (Level 2 – Victorian Disability Services (NGO) Agreement) Employment Status: Casual – ongoing (mix of weekday, weekend, day, afternoon + active overnight shifts) We’re looking for compassionate and reliable Residential Support Workers to help people with disability live more independently and enjoy a fulfilling life at home and in their community. We’re looking for people who are flexible to work a mixture of day, afternoon and active overnight shifts — because great support happens around the clock. What you’ll do Support residents with daily living activities such as personal care, food preparation, medication support, and mealtime routines. Encourage independence and skill-building through person‑centred support and teaching moments (big and small). Create opportunities for residents to connect with their community, explore interests, and engage in meaningful activities. Work alongside team leaders and colleagues to implement Person‑Centred Plans (PCPs). Maintain accurate documentation and records to support safe, quality and empowering care. Complete admin tasks such as compliance reporting, client paperwork and incident documentation while following genU policies and WHS standards. What you’ll bring A warm, supportive and person‑first approach. The ability to stay flexible, calm and adaptable — especially when routines change. A genuine desire to empower people with disability to live independently. A sense of humour and a positive team spirit.
