About the role
Reporting into an industry leading Partner and Senior Associate, your key responsibilities will include:
Researching technical information for current matters
Gathering and analysing case facts while identifying legal issues and risks
Drafting emails, correspondence and legal documentation
Providing general legal assistance to fee earners in the group as required
Preparing counsel briefings and documents for court hearings
Attending in Courts and Tribunals
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
2-4 years post admission legal experience
General litigation experience is advantageous
An excellent academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills
A commitment to excellence and delivery of high quality outcomes to our clients
Ability to effectively manage your own time, managing competing tasks and at time working to tight deadlines
Strong drafting skills with specific ability to draft court documents and affidavits
A team player mentality, with a supportive and collaborative working style
A self-motivated and “can-do” attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman
