The Opportunity: The Senior Mental Health Clinician is a key position within the Early Psychosis stream. Our service is made up of compassionate, curious, and committed people. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a committed Senior Mental Health Clinician to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and governance to a multidisciplinary team supporting young people at ultra‑high risk of psychosis or with first episode psychosis, and complex co‑morbid conditions. Provide leadership within a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based interventions, supporting a multidisciplinary clinical team with supervision, training, and clinical governance responsibilities. Provide comprehensive mental health and risk assessments, case management, and evidence-based psychological interventions to young people and their families. What You'll Do: Provide leadership, supervision, and participate in clinical governance processes for a clinical sub‑team within the Early Psychosis program Manage and undertake mental health and risk assessments, formulations, individual service plans, psychological treatment, crisis interventions, and family work and systems containment Engage in Early Psychosis specific and youth mental health training initiatives Opportunities for one or more key portfolios such as satellite clinic coordination, specialist family interventions, AOD and Youth Justice, and primary care. About You: You will be experienced in, and passionate about, early intervention and evidence based care for young people experiencing severe mental health difficulties including those at ultra‑high risk for psychosis and/or with a first episode psychosis. ✔️ Eligible disciplines: RPN Grade 4 / Occupational Therapist, Social Worker and Psychologist Grade 3 ✔️ Relevant registration and qualifications (see position description for details) ✔️ Minimum 5 years’ experience in tertiary and/or youth mental health and a demonstrated ability to lead a clinical team, supervise mental health clinicians, and function both autonomously and collaboratively with other clinical and organisational leaders ✔️ Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills ✔️ Motivated by youth‑focused, inclusive, and recovery‑oriented care Ready to Make a Difference?
