Project Electrical Tradesperson

Permanent Full-Time Role: Secure a long-term position with Downer Competitive Rate:EBA rates$45.34 + Penalties + Electrical Licence Allowance + Site allowances. Residential Roster:56 hours per week. Monday – Friday - 10 hours and 6 hours on Saturdays. Convenient Location: Working at BlueScope Steel, Port Kembla, NSW. Supportive Environment: Tight-knit team environment within a workplace that focuses on Zero Harm Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has a full-time permanent opportunity for an Electrical Tradesperson to join our team at BlueScope Steel in Port Kembla. In this role, you will apply your expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation installation for the Number 6 Blast Furnace Project. ABOUT YOU Trade Qualified: Hold an Electrical trade qualification with an Electrical licence with experience working within a heavy industry or power station environment. Technically Proficient: Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks. Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety. Site Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card, EWP ticket (desirable). Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical.
