Packaging Coordinator

Job Category: Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics About this role We are currently seeking a Packaging Coordinator to join our Shepparton Stores team on a full-time basis. In this position you will play a key hands on role in the smooth running of our dispatch packaging team by ensuring accurate and efficient picking, packing, and dispatch of customer shipments while maintaining a safe, and productive working environment. Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm. Job Description Duties: Lead, coach and develop a small team to achieve daily tasks to meet customer shipping requirements. Pro-actively monitor and guide the progression of customer shipment schedules and communicate regular updates to the project delivery team to meet the required delivery deadlines. Help support the use of and manage airfreight and container layouts in line with packaging requirements and communicate to internal stakeholders. Ensure accurate order fulfilment and quality control in time for successful export and timely clearance of goods to destination. Build and manage relationships with dispatch and warehouse team as well as internal stakeholders to support meeting our customers' needs. Skills & Experience Good communicator, with team first attitude and strong problem solving skills. Strong work ethic with ability to multitask between different shipments. Industry experience in a similar or warehouse type position essential. Computer literacy and SAP knowledge (preferred). Demonstrated time management and organisational skill. Must be physically fit and able to lift 15-20kg.
