Help Shape the Future of Our Kitchens An opportunity exists for current staff to apply for additional hours as Cooks across our three kitchens — Dunolly, Avoca, and Maryborough . We also welcome applications from interested staff for a permanent part-time Cook position, up to 64 hours per fortnight . Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and serve meals in line with menu plans and dietary requirements Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and ordering supplies Ensure correct use and thorough cleaning of kitchen equipment Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service deadlines Follow organizational policies, including all Health & Safety procedures Requirements Certificate 3 in commercial cookery (preferred) Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, or commercial cooking Knowledge of dietary needs, allergies, and therapeutic diets Understanding of food safety standards Ability to work with compassion and professionalism Strong communication skills and a cooperative team approach Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to resident and patient wellbeing On-site training will be provided to ensure the successful applicant is fully prepared for the role How to Apply Applicants must include the following: Resume Cover Letter You can find the Position Description under the ‘Related Documents’ section of the job advertisement.
