About the Opportunity We are looking for a highly motivated Patient Transport Officer to contribute to the safe transfer of patients in a variety of situations in the Hunter - Cardiff area. You’ll be responsible for providing safe and timely transport of patients and contribute to the delivery of quality care and excellence in customer service within a cost effective and efficient environment. Qualifications & Requirements Hold a current NSW unrestricted Manual Light Rigid Driver's Licence with no more than six demerit points in the last three years and no licence suspension or cancellation in the last two years. Fit tested to an approved respirator prior to employment; maintain a cleanly shaven face for proper seal. Required to attend a mandatory full‑time (2‑week) induction course; must complete the full two weeks (Mon‑Fri). Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check for paid work within NSW. Have valid Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Appointment requires immunisation and tuberculosis screening per NSW Health Category A policy; upload required documents during application. External preferred candidates may need a physical pre‑employment health assessment (no cost). I hold a current NSW unrestricted Manual Light Rigid Driver's Licence and have NOT incurred more than six demerit points in the last three years nor had my licence suspended or cancelled in the last two years and am able to supply a copy of my driving record as part of the recruitment process. I am willing and able to obtain a Working with Children Check for paid work within NSW. I acknowledge that if successful I will need to attend a full time induction programme that consists of 2 weeks Monday through Friday. I am able and willing to work seven‑day rotational roster including public holidays, early morning commencement and late evening completion time and a reasonable amount of overtime.
