Location: Merrimac YardEmployment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)Work Arrangement: On-site onlySalary: $50,000–$60,000 per year , depending on experience About the Role We are seeking a motivated and organised Administration Assistant to join our team at our Merrimac Yard. This role is suited to someone performing the duties of a junior administration assistant , making it an excellent entry-level opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career in admin while supporting multiple departments, or a family person wanting a position. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. You'll support operations by ensuring consumables are stocked, assisting with communications, and completing a wide variety of administrative tasks across HR, Finance, and Safety. Key Responsibilities General Administration & Data Entry Perform accurate and efficient data entry across multiple systems Assist with general office administration and record-keeping Provide ad-hoc administrative support to various internal teams Yard & Consumables Management Ensure the Merrimac Yard is consistently stocked with required consumables Monitor stock levels and arrange replenishment when needed Reception & Communication Support Assist with call-backs and follow-up tasks generated by our AI receptionist system Handle basic enquiries and direct information to appropriate staff Safety & Compliance Support Assist the Safety Manager with administrative tasks Support updates and adjustments to SWMS and other safety documentation Human Resources Support Assist the HR Manager with job ads, candidate coordination, and recruitment tasks Support general HR administration as required Finance Administration Support Assist the Finance Manager with staff timesheets Support the processing of invoices and purchase orders About You Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail Good communication and organisational abilities Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment Basic computer literacy (Google System or similar) What We Offer Supportive and friendly team environment On-the-job training and skill-building opportunities Exposure to HR, finance, safety, and operational admin Stable full-time role (38 hours per week), fully on-site at Merrimac Yard Salary range of $50,000–$60,000 , based on experience Free parking on site #J-18808-Ljbffr
