This position is site based role located at Kemerton. What You Will Do Undertake injury and illness management including acute care. Provide emergency and non-emergency assistance and medical care across the operational site. Support in the management of site processes through the regular review and updating of process and procedures. Co‑ordinate and develop in conjunction with the Safety and Hygiene Lead the health and hygiene systems and health monitoring program including regulatory reporting requirements. Support the Wellness Coordinator delivering employee engagement plan and health promotion campaigns. Conduct health assessments and screenings. Return to work management—including coordination and monitoring of non‑work‑related return‑to‑work case load and return‑to‑work programs. Support the Wellness Coordinator with workers’ compensation claim management. Conduct pre‑employment medical reviews. Coordinate and oversee site drug and alcohol testing. Coordinate blanket and random drug and alcohol testing in liaison with the Health and Safety Manager. Ensure that all health and medical reporting requirements meet corporate requirements. Manage and coordinate regulatory and company required medical surveillance, this shall include the coordination of bookings, conduct the testing and manage results and records for Health monitoring which includes biological monitoring and spirometry. Medical surveillance for employees, including emergency response. Audiometric testing, hearing conservation program and managing the referral process for employees who meet the NAL 80 criteria for audiometric testing. Fit testing (hearing protection devices and respiratory protection equipment) Maintain health records with company approved medical record system, including treatment notes, pre‑employment medicals and health monitoring records. Attend Doctors appointments as required for workplace injuries ensuring all medical certificates i.e. certificates of capacity are obtained. What You Bring Required Bachelor of Nursing. AHPRA – Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency Registration. Current qualification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Alcohol and Drug Testing Certification Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse working in a clinical setting. Demonstrated experience in first responder medical care. Demonstrated experience and in‑depth knowledge of injury management and return‑to‑work process and practices. Previous in a similar working environment (mining, resources, chemical or processing). Sound clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills. Demonstrated experience in Occupational Health Experience in the development and continuous improvement of health and hygiene systems, processes and procedures. Working knowledge of best practice injury management and workers’ compensation processes. Skilled in effective communication and stakeholder management. Skilled at delivering health‑related projects. C Class Australian Drivers License.
