As the successful candidate, you will take on a pivotal leadership role within an adult mental health inpatient unit, overseeing the clinical care and treatment of individuals aged 18–65, while working alongside a passionate, multidisciplinary team dedicated to holistic, person‑centred care. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients admitted to the unit. You will provide direct clinical care, including medication management and therapeutic interventions, while also contributing to risk assessments, care reviews, and discharge planning. Your leadership will guide junior medical staff and contribute to the professional development of the wider team. You will collaborate daily with a broad network of professionals including psychiatrists, mental health nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and administrative staff, all united by a shared mission to improve mental health outcomes and provide compassionate, comprehensive support to individuals and their families.
