Then this is the opportunity for you Position Details Casual position Based across City of Kingston This role is part of the Community Hubs team within the Inclusive Communities Department. We are a passionate driven team who love working with the community to meet their needs through the delivery of high-quality programs, activities, and events. The Community Centre Administration Officer is required to provide high level administrative support to the Community Hubs team. Key Responsibilities Administration: Provide high level administration support to the Community Hubs, support overall day-to-day operations, monitor email inboxes, and maintain statistics Building Operations: Present the Centre/Hub in an open, inviting, and safe manner, coordinate building maintenance requests Finance: Process purchase orders, weekly banking, venue hire payments, and invoicing Your Skills and Experience An ability to connect, engage and build rapport with community Excellent communication and teamwork skills Demonstrated ability to provide timely, relevant, and accurate information and support to internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated ability to use communication technology effectively and efficiently Experience working in a front‑facing, community environment is desirable This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where each day brings variety and new projects and tasks.
