Overview Expressions of Interest - Graduate Registered Nurse at Eldercare, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia Location: Adelaide, South Australia, Australia Role details Regular opportunities exist across 10 residential care sites to join Eldercare on a 1-year contract with a view to permanent employment. Roles are available as 0.8 FTE up to full-time hours undertaking weekday shifts; the graduate position does not include afternoon, night or weekend shifts. Responsibilities Participate in an Aged Care Transition to Practice program with ANMEC. Work within a multi-disciplinary team. Work directly with residents. Collaborate with peers and other employees across the organisation. Increase your skills with direct support from colleagues, structured supervision and a thorough training program. Provide treatment that centres around evidence-based care. Help residents to achieve their goals. Deliver quality individualised nursing care to residents, including complex care needs, with emphasis on wound and pain management. Supervise staff on the floor to ensure care delivered meets service standards and customer service expectations. Requirements To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue. As per Eldercare's Employee Immunisation Policy, all Eldercare employees are required to: be vaccinated against seasonal influenza by no later than 1 June each year; be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current ATAGI guidelines; exemptions on a temporary or permanent basis can only be approved by Eldercare's Chief Executive.
