Role Overview Nuix is seeking a Procurement Business Partner to join our Commercial Operations Team in Sydney. The primary goal of this role is to establish procurement practices, processes, and internal relationships. The Procurement Business Partner is responsible for the effective development and ongoing management of the Nuix procurement policy, procedures, processes, guidelines, tools and templates, as well as monitoring compliance and undertaking spend reporting and oversight. The role will work closely with the global Executive Leadership Team to support business units in an advisory role or with specific sourcing. This position will be based in our Sydney CBD office. The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the Sydney office for the remaining 2 days of the week. For the first 3 months of employment, the candidate is expected to attend the office for a minimum of 4 days per week . Department Corporate Services Employment Type Fixed Term - Full Time Location Sydney (Australia) Workplace type Hybrid Reporting To Matt Gardiner Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain an effective, efficient, fit for purpose and easy-to-use Procurement Policy that embeds strong governance, quality management, compliance and value for money practices Coordinate with executive leadership and Sales leaders to conduct the development and execution of major sourcing events, as required by business units Support the business in the negotiation of risk-based supplier agreements Establish business case framework and key metrics for areas of significant spend Develop, maintain and communicate procurement guidelines, tools & templates (across end-to-end procurement lifecycle including Sourcing, Vendor Management and Contract Mgmt etc.) Establish an education programme for business users to embed newly developed policies, procedures and processes Monitor compliance to implemented policy and procedures Liaise with key Nuix stakeholder groups to support management of strategic vendor relationships Lead the enhancement of procurement technology, including the creation and management of a single, central contract repository and support business monitoring of KPI and milestone tracking, obligations management, and renewals Conduct enterprise procurement analysis and performance reporting to support management decision making Maintain awareness of external leading procurement and inventory methodologies and work to deploy these within Nuix as relevant Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 7+ years of procurement experience Demonstrated capacity to influence executive stakeholders without direct authority Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced, ever-changing business Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desired Expertise Experience in technology industry procurement preferred Consultative approach to the implementation and embedding of policies, practices and procedures Nuix is an equal opportunity employer including for Veterans and People with Disabilities.
