About the project The Wave is a major transport initiative set to transform connectivity from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. Delivering new heavy rail from Beerwah to Birtinya and an express metro‑style service through Maroochydore to the Sunshine Coast Airport, this project will reduce travel times, ease congestion, and improve regional connections. Coach and mentor teams, fostering innovation and continuous improvement. Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate with impact to support successful project delivery. People Who Count – What you will bring Strong skills in the design, renewal, implementation, testing, and commissioning of infrastructure such as HV traction, signalling, track and civil works, telecommunications. Proven experience leading and developing teams of engineers and technical professionals. Ability to deliver practical, business‑focused engineering solutions that create value in track and civil disciplines. Skilled in guiding multi‑disciplinary teams to achieve sustainable outcomes in a complex regulatory environment. Experience driving business improvements and leveraging technology to deliver commercial advantage. Strong understanding of statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements, with a commitment to safety, environmental standards, and business practices.
