Overview We’re looking for a number of skilled Operators to join our team at our Auburn transfer station. The shifts available are Monday to Friday – 6am-2pm, 9am-5pm, and 2pm-10pm. These hands-on roles are ideal for someone experienced with heavy machinery and keen to contribute to essential waste operations that support the local environment. Responsibilities Operate machinery such as excavators, material handlers, and backhoe. Forklift licence ideal. Pushing material around. Sorting material as required, general housekeeping duties. Carry out daily cover operations, including the mixing and application of cover materials. Conduct basic site maintenance and assist with manual handling tasks when required. About You A valid plant operator ticket or equivalent competency of at least two-three of the above (VOC, RII, etc.). Forklift licence ideal. Previous experience in the earthmoving or construction industry advantageous. Ability to work well in a team and follow operational plans. A professional presentation and manner with a strong focus on safety. Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
