We are looking for an influential and commercially minded Head of Data Insights & Analytics to join a progressive financial services organisation undergoing significant digital and customer‑led transformation. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of enterprise‑wide insight, analytics, and performance intelligence, ensuring leaders have the clarity, foresight, and confidence to make high‑impact decisions. This is a role for a strategic thinker who thrives on converting data into value—driving growth, improving customer outcomes, and enhancing operational performance. The business has access to significant data and a strong data engineering team. It is now time to put the data to commercial use. Strategic Insights & Decision Support Deliver high‑quality executive insights that inform product, customer, pricing, digital, and risk decisions Shape the enterprise insights roadmap, aligning analytics priorities with commercial strategy Develop forward‑looking analytics (forecasting, scenario modelling, trend analysis) to guide strategy and investment decisions Analytics & Performance Measurement Own enterprise reporting, performance dashboards, and KPIs that improve visibility across the organisation Establish a single version of truth for commercial performance, customer metrics, and financial outcomes Translate complex data into simple, influential narratives that support Board and ELT decision‑making Customer, Product & Commercial Analytics Use data to identify growth opportunities, optimise portfolios, and understand customer behaviour Partner with product and marketing to enhance segmentation, targeting, and customer value strategies Drive pricing, profitability, risk‑return, and channel performance insights that strengthen business performance Leadership & Influence Lead a talented analytics and insights team and uplift data literacy across the business Build a culture where insights are proactively used to shape decisions, not just measure outcomes What You Bring Deep experience leading insights, analytics, BI or data strategy functions within financial services Strong commercial orientation and ability to connect insight directly to business value Exceptional communication and data storytelling skills—you make the complex easy and actionable Advanced capability in analytics methodologies, forecasting, segmentation, modelling and performance measurement Proven ability to influence C‑suite and senior leaders in fast‑paced, transformation‑oriented environments Leadership experience building high‑performing insights teams and uplifting organisational capability Industry background ideally from broader financial services, insurance or banking, however strong candidates from consumer focused business will be considered Why Join?
