About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Analyst to join our Administration team in our Sydney office and support the establishment of our Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) Program. This full-time, 12‑month fixed-term contract presents a fantastic opportunity to begin your career in compliance and gain hands‑on experience within a supportive team. Reporting to the Director, AML Compliance, you will play a key role in helping the firm meet new Anti‑Money Laundering and Counter‑Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) regulatory requirements to prepare for the AUSTRAC compliance deadline on 1 July 2026. The role will suit someone who enjoys working with structured processes, is comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines, and has an interest in project management as part of coordinating key AML Program activities. What does the role involve? Supporting the Director, AML Compliance with the implementation of the AML/CTF program Assisting with client onboarding, due diligence, and basic risk assessments Maintaining accurate AML records, key documentation, registers and training records Supporting the preparation and submission of the firm’s AUSTRAC reporting obligations Monitoring compliance activities and escalating potential issues to senior team members Contributing to policy and procedure reviews as needed About you To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: A bachelor's degree in administration or a related field A keen interest in compliance, risk, or financial crime prevention Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills The ability to work both independently and collaboratively A commitment to ethical conduct and professional growth Prior experience or certification in AML is a plus, but not required We look to recruit talented people, then provide the opportunities and support for them to achieve their best.
