About the role We’re currently seeking a Session Leader to join our team at the Werribee Donor Centre. Reporting to the Donor Centre Manager, you’ll provide operational oversight to ensure that the end-to-end donation experience runs efficiently with no compromise on quality or safety. As a Session Leader, you’ll provide direction, inspiration and support for your team to achieve common goals and foster team effectiveness, as well as managing tough issues with respect. You’ll value self-awareness and reflect on your own strengths and areas for development, making you an even stronger leader. A day in the centre could see you: Deliver a supportive and safe experience to our amazing donors Develop and coach teams Physically insert and remove needles to collect donations Act as the first point of contact for any complex donor assessments Provide clinical oversight to team to ensure phlebotomy success Show pride in upholding our high safety and quality standards Requirements Proven leadership experience with a strong focus on ownership, accountability, delivering outcomes, ability to coach and provide performance feedback A hands‑on, action‑oriented approach – you lead by doing and inspire others to do the same Exceptional communication skills – clear, confident, and effective across all levels A sharp customer focus and the ability to balance service excellence with operational efficiency A track record of driving results in a fast‑paced, people‑centric environment Collaborative nature with a strong sense of teamwork Digital and technical aptitude Clinical experience (Desirable) Benefits and Wellbeing We place our employee's well‑being at the forefront and express gratitude and care for one another.
