About The Role As a Commis Chef in the Misono Kitchen, you will support the Head Chef and a dynamic kitchen team in preparing high quality dishes for luxury guests. You will be recruited as an experienced and dedicated professional ready to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Critical Responsibilities Communicate assistance needed during busy periods to the Chef to ensure optimal service Check and ensure correct temperature of appliances and food Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish Monitor food quantity and portion sizes Prepare ingredients—portioning, chopping, storing Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment Prepare and cook food Set‑up, clean and break down workstation Apply sushi‑making skills and techniques in the Sushi Bar Set to order guest requests as per menu Organize interactive sushi class for kids Successful Candidates Will Have Previous experience in a similar environment Strong food safety knowledge Great communication skills Ability to work in a team and autonomously Passion for food and desire to grow culinary career The Benefits Unlimited strategic development and career opportunities Generous accommodation and food & beverage discounts across the Marriott Group Recognition programs to keep you motivated The best hotel training opportunities Well‑being and mindfulness programs Important notice for candidates Job scams are on the rise.
