About the role We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Palm Springs Pharmacy in Warnbro on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our qualified pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and care. What you'll be doing Providing excellent customer service to patients, answering inquiries and addressing concerns Assisting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications Maintaining accurate patient records and inventory control Ensuring the pharmacy environment is clean, organised and safe for both staff and customers Supporting the pharmacy team in other tasks as required Adhering to all relevant pharmacy policies, procedures and regulations Work a roster that includes weekends and evenings (penalty rates will apply to weekend and evening shifts) What we're looking for Strong customer service skills and a friendly and outgoing personality Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently Good computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to contributing to the wellbeing of our patients Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred, but not essential What we offer Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills A friendly and collaborative team environment where your contributions are valued An opportunity to work at an award winning locally owned and operated pharmacy that is well respected and is dedicated to providing customer service excellence About us Palm Springs Pharmacy is a trusted healthcare provider in the Rockingham community, offering a wide range of pharmaceutical services and products to our customers.
