An opportunity exists for a physically fit, versatile handy person for our Depot located in St Marys. With flexibility over the days you work and start and finish times, you will be required for 3 days per week. The successful applicant must be an all‑rounder willing to assist in ensuring the grounds and maintenance of the Depot are of a high standard. To be considered for this position, you must show you have had experience in a similar role. Your Duties Include Grounds keeping; Use of the yard sweeper; Rubbish removal; Pressure cleaning and hosing; Undertake routine repairs, cleaning and maintenance of the facilities; General skill set for maintenance work required; Manual handling of freight; General property maintenance; Following safe operating procedures and complying with company policy. To Be Considered for This Role Be relatively fit as manual handling is required; Honest, reliable, prompt and punctual; Can work independently with minimal supervision; Experience in general maintenance type roles – Trades background will be highly regarded; Ability to read and write and understand units of measure; Have your own car licence, suitable vehicle and tools; WH&S White card – preferable; Basic administration skills; Be flexible and accept changes to days of work and be available to work additional days if required; Have a commitment to safe work practices.
