Malek Fahd Islamic School – Beaumont Hills NSW We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Hand/Maintenance professional to join our team at Malek Fahd Islamic School in Beaumont Hills, NSW. This full-time role is an integral part of our operations, responsible for maintaining the school's facilities and grounds to the highest standards. What you'll be doing Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the school Ensure the school's facilities, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and clean Assist with the set-up and pack-up of school events and functions Respond to and resolve maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner Adhere to all work, health and safety policies and procedures What we're looking for Demonstrated experience in general maintenance, building, or facility management, ideally in an educational or community environment Strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and hazard reporting Proven ability to complete maintenance tasks efficiently and independently Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in varying conditions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management skills Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or ability to obtain prior to commencement Trade qualification or Certificate III in Building Maintenance, Carpentry, or related field Experience working in a school or similar environment Familiarity with digital maintenance request or facility management systems Current First Aid Certificate Additional WHS, manual handling, or chemical safety training Experience coordinating or liaising with contractors and service providers Awareness of environmental sustainability and waste management practices What we offer At Malek Fahd Islamic School, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
