What You’ll Be Working On As part of our Parks & Reserves team, you’ll: Maintain and enhance parks, gardens, verges, sportsgrounds and pedestrian pathways, ensuring they are safe, attractive and accessible. Operate a variety of plant and equipment, from ride‑on mowers and whipper snippers to hand tools, delivering high‑quality horticultural and landscape maintenance. Contribute to community projects, special events and seasonal planting programs that make our public spaces shine. Opportunities exist at two levels: General Hand Parks Maintenance (Level 2–3, $61,000 – $74,000) Bring your energy, reliability and pride in hands‑on work to help keep our parks looking their best. Work safely and collaboratively in a supportive team environment. Leading Hand Parks Maintenance (Level 3–4, $69,000 – $81,690) Lead, mentor and guide a small team, promoting a culture of safety, excellence and teamwork. Take on responsibility for allocating work, coaching colleagues and helping deliver a range of exciting community projects.
