Leisure & Activities Officer – Calvary The Mariner, South West Rocks Location: South West Rocks, NSW 2431 Employment: Permanent Part-time (26 hours per fortnight) Start date: 19 January 2026 About the Role In the Assisted Living Lifestyle Team, you will support residents with daily lifestyle programs, social activities, and engagement across the home. This part-time role is perfect for a bright, fun, and bubbly individual who loves supporting residents and bringing positive energy into the home. Key Responsibilities Respect each resident’s individual character, personality, and right to independence to continue an enjoyable, healthy, and productive lifestyle. Develop formal and informal activity programmes designed to improve and maintain the quality of life of residents. Provide social and recreational programmes that meet the needs of the residents. About You Certificate IV Leisure & Lifestyle or other relevant qualification. Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating activities and programmes for frail people with cognitive impairment and other disabilities. Ability to document assessments, care plans and progress notes to meet legislative, funding and quality improvement requirements. Ability to work and communicate with people of all ages and cognitive ability and to obtain their trust and cooperation.
