Medibank is seeking a Data Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and integrity of data across our platforms, with a strong focus on ETL testing, stakeholder coordination, and AWS integration. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end coordination with stakeholders for business requirements, UAT, and deliverables. Develop, implement, and execute data assurance strategies across AWS, ETL, and reporting platforms. Perform data profiling, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from diverse sources including Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, flat files, XML, and mainframe files. Conduct thorough database and ETL testing using complex SQL scripts. Analyse and convert business requirements into technical specifications and test plans. Manage defect triage meetings and ensure timely communication with stakeholders. Support compliance with Medibank’s Test Strategy and Deployment/Release processes. Must‑Have Skills & Experience 5+ years’ experience in system/integration and data migration testing. Strong expertise in ETL methodologies and data assurance practices. Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EMR, RDS, S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, and DynamoDB. Proficiency in SQL and data mapping for complex data environments. Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with DataOps toolsets. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills. Desirable Skills AWS Solution Architecture experience. Exposure to SAS, MicroStrategy, or Tableau. Understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks.
