Endurance's Abra Mine is located approximately 220km north of Meekatharra, in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The underground mine represents one of the world's cleanest and largest lead-silver projects. The Role The Metallurgical Superintendent will lead our metallurgical and operations teams, driving metallurgical excellence and contributing to our high‑performing processing culture. This is a leadership role with Plant Metallurgists reporting directly to you. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Build and lead a high‑performing metallurgical team Mentor and develop Plant Metallurgists Foster collaboration across processing, maintenance, and contractor teams Manage technical process training and development Technical & Operational Drive metallurgical excellence through plant optimisation and trials Oversee metallurgical accounting, reconciliation, and reporting Manage reagent budgets and cost‑effective operating strategies Analyse plant data and generate corporate reporting analytics Contractor & Compliance Build collaborative relationships with laboratory contractors, ROM operations, and logistics providers Ensure statutory compliance across all contractor activities Maintain quality standards through regular contractor reviews Safety & Environment Lead a safety‑focused culture across all metallurgical operations Ensure operations meet environmental operating licence conditions Drive continuous improvement in OH&S processes What You'll Bring Essential Qualifications/Experience Bachelor's degree in Extractive Metallurgy, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering Must have advanced knowledge of base metals flotation processes (silver highly regarded) Minimum 5 years in a similar metallurgical leadership role Current WA "C" Class driver's licence Technical Expertise Strong metallurgical accounting and reconciliation experience Hands‑on test work and plant trials experience Proven ability in reagent budgeting and forecasting Extensive plant data analysis capabilities Leadership Skills Strong communication and influencing skills with technical and operations teams Proven ability to build high‑performing teams Capacity to make decisions under pressure High emotional intelligence and collaborative approach The Offer FIFO 8:6 roster ex Perth or DIDO ex Meekatharra and surrounds Competitive, market‑related remuneration, based on experience Great camp, with sports court and fully equipped gym Work alongside a collaborative, inclusive team Stability with a projected 10+ year mine life Why Work for Endurance Now?
